The Super Bowl No-Tap returns to Thunder Bowl Sunday Feb. 5th with $1,000 projected for First Place based on 96 entries. Bowl 3 No-Tap games across 6 lanes, with 1 in 8 cashing, for a $30 entry fee.
Scratch Pots and Brackets will be available. Check–In at 12:30 with tournament to start at 1:00pm. Plan to attend the Super Bowl Party in Morgan’s after. Come get some.
The Post Tribune Sport Shot Classic is Sunday January 8th at 9:30am at Stardust III in Dyer IN. 3 Divisions (Men, Women and Youth) 3 separate prize funds. Qualifying is 3 games moving pairs each game. 1 in 5 will cash. Oil pattern will be announced Thursday in the Post-Tribune Newspaper Bowling Section. The next regular Boot Hill Scratch Tournament will be on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Stardust Bowl, 37 Lorraine Avenue, Addison, IL. The entry fee is $70. One in four will cash. The first three prizes will be guaranteed; $1,000 for first, $500 for second and $300 for third. As a result of low entry counts during the entire fall season, the remainder of the winter schedule has been cancelled at this time.

PBA Central/Midwest Region Thunder Bowl Open sponsored by Dragon Palace Restaurant- Mokena, IL. The PBA returned to Thunder Bowl July 30th. Paul Bober a non-member from Morton Grove, IL lead qualifying with 1916 for 8 games. Jason Wojnar Chicago qualified 4th with 1867. Eventual finalist Mason Brantley Detroit qualified 7th with 1836. Michael Steil, - Wheeling, IL 9 th-1832, local PBA Exempt player Steve Jaros - Yorkville, IL 11th. -1805, and final qualifier the reigning PBA Regional leader with 46 Regional Championships (as well as a few national titles) Pete Weber - St. Ann, MO was 12th. Young Mike Kicmal (LaGrange, IL) won $400 for his SMART Scholarship account for finishing 17th. Manteno’s former PBA Exempt player Steve Rogers missed the cash by 2 pins. Orland Park’s John Dudak got a senior check with 1737 for 22nd. PBA Exempt players Eugene McCune (whose first game was 279) couldn't sustain the huge scoring pace as the lanes transitioned finished 26th. Alligator Ice Doubles Tournament at Bluebird Lanes in Chicago. Now leading the Tournament - 1356 rolled by Bill Guszczo and Dave Woody!!! Bill and Dave also lead the Scratch Doubles Pot. Congratulations to Lockport's Junior David Wysocki who rolled games of 246, 246, 266, 225, 267, 228 for a 242 average 1478. Argo's sophomore Gerald Regep III totalled 1403 for second and two pins back Bolingbrook sophomore Doug Michalec with 1401.
